Ryotaro Sakajo (坂城 良太郎, Sakajō Ryōtarō) is a psychopath who is in love with Misa Amane. Although he is mentioned in the anime, manga, and films, he is only referred to by this name in the films, and otherwise remains nameless. He is the assistant director during the filming of Misa Amane's "Misa-Misa's Happy Sweets" video. He is obsessed with Misa, collecting a used tissue of hers after she throws it in the trash. In a sequence bridged between the two films, Sakajo corners Misa and brandishes a knife, stating that he wishes to die with her. Gelus, watching from the Shinigami realm, kills him to save Misa's life. In doing so, Gelus dies and his Death Note drops near Misa.
In the movie, Sakajo is first seen watching Misa film her cooking show, Misa-Misa's Happy Sweets. While off-set, Misa blows her nose

, and throws the tissue into a small garbage can. After Misa has left, Sakajo takes the tissue out and places it into his pocket.
Sakajo presumably follows Misa outside after she leaves the TV station, eventually causing her to flee. Claiming that he wants to reunite Misa with her family, Sakashiro chases her with a knife and says that he wants "to die for her."
Gelus, who is watching over Misa, kills Sakajo with his Death Note. After his death, Misa finds Gelus' notebook and meetsRem.

Osoreda had failed in an attempt to rob a bank, shooting a teller and two customers as he made his escaped. Light writes Osoreda's name in theDeath Note, dictating his actions.
Osoreda boards a bus heading to Spaceland and holds a gun to the driverSasaki's head, demanding that he be put on the phone with the people at Spaceland so that he can demand ransom in return for the safe release of the hostages.
Noticing Light, who attempts to pick up a piece of paper he dropped, Osoreda reads the note, which has date plans written on it. He scoffs the note, unaware that he has just touched a piece of paper from the the Death Note. Due to this, Osoreda is now able to see Ryuk. Horrified, Osoreda fires all his rounds at Ryuk, but the bullets all pass right through the Shinigami.
Osoreda forces the driver to stop the bus and then runs into the street, where an automobile hits Osoreda's head, killing him; the authorities mistakenly believe that Osoreda's vision of Ryuk was a drug-induced hallucination.

In FilmsEdit

Osoreda
Osoreda, as he appears in the film
StillAliveAdded by StillAlive
Osoreda appears in the first film, with a few changes:
  1. He picks up the paper that had Light's plan to stop him on it instead of the date plan
  2. Raye Penber sees him from the newspaper instead of remembering him from the news.
  3. He is hit against his side by the car while standing, instead being hit by his head while crouching.

TriviaEdit

  • In the film, when he jumps out of the bus, the car hits him the second he leaves, while in the Anime and Manga it takes a few seconds. The car goes out of its way to hit him.

PlotEdit

He is kidnapped by the Mafia led by Mello in order to serve as a hostage in exchange for the Death Note the Japanese police had in its possession. Takimura is later found dead, strangled by his own tie. Due to this unexpected turn of events, Mello organises the kidnapping of Sayu Yagami, the daughter of Takimura's deputy Soichiro Yagami, and holds her hostage in exchange for the Death Note.
Death Note: How to Read 13 confirms that he is killed by Kira(Light Yagami), though in the manga Light himself does not openly confirm this in his thoughts or in conversation. Nearand Mello themselves speculate that it could have been either Kira's doing or actual suicide.

Ill Ratt (イル・ラット, Iru Ratto) was a member of the SPK who acted as a spy for Mello.
